*Renter deposits are refundable when renters move out ONLY if their bill is paid in full for all water usage while residing at the property. If a renter has the service in their name and moves out leaving a bill, their deposit will be applied to their balance and any unpaid balance is due immediately or the balance is subject to additional collection fees and can be turned over to a collection agency.

**If property owners keep the water service in their name, there will not be a deposit, only a $40.00 reconnect fee if the service has been disconnected. McIntosh Water requires a copy of the rental agreement or contact by the property owner confirming the bill will remain in the property owner’s name before service will be reconnected. All outstanding amounts due at the property must be paid in full to have water service restored.
